Blue jeans and blue tees
Blue sky and blue ocean
Blues in me and blues in you
Fifteen minute silence
Dirt on my face and sweat on your skin
Let us wash them away along with our sin
The warmth in my eyes like rain in the skies
Let me snug it up as the ticking clock dies!!
Are we what we think we are?
Or everything we think we are not??
An ocean’s colour is blue( green at some places ) because it absorbs the red and orange wavelengths from the (visible spectrum) Sun leaving the blue spectrum to penetrate deeper giving the hue we see!!
So basically, ocean is red (in character) but we see it as blue ( our visible perception )
Now tell me, are we what we think we are?
Or everything we think we are not??
P. S: Here’s a little hazy thought of mine using ocean as a metaphor. I know it’s very ambiguous, but I made the best attempt to articulate my thoughts! Do comment your opinion if you think I made some sense 🙂
